We provide care that is truly exceptional. We want to support you to live your life independently in the safety and comfort of your own home. With Live-in care, you gain the comfort of knowing that the support you want is on hand when you need it most. We believe that true quality goes beyond meeting your requirements; fundamentally it is about supporting your personal goals, aspirations and desires. This is your life so it’s imperative that the care and support you receive must always meet your expectations and that you are supported to make your own choices about how we can help you. In short, we design the service with you, to make sure it accurately reflects your wishes.

Dementia Care

There are various types of dementia, from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s, all with different symptoms, striking different people and all requiring varied care services. All types of dementia can develop behavioural patterns for customers that can be difficult for family members and friends to cope with – both physically and emotionally. Often, seeking the support of trained carers is a must to help relieve the pressure of this by providing customer specific care options that can help the customer and their relatives better manage day-to-day life and plan for the road ahead. As you come to terms with your loved one’s new diagnosis, you’ll be experiencing a range of emotions as well, and during this time it it is important you have sufficient professional support around you that allows you space to understand the changes both you and your loved one are going through. Here at Wincare though, we firmly believe that having dementia does not mean the end of life as you knew it. Following the initial adaptation period, we will continue to work with the customer and their family to help them continue life as normally and fulfilling as possible. With ever evolving treatment and research into dementia, you can be in the comfort of knowing your Wincare carer receives specialist on going training and CPD to provide the highest standard of care for dementia suffers.

Elderly Care

We all grow old, it’s a fact of life – but this doesn’t mean we need to stop enjoying doing the things we love. However, with children, grandchildren and relatives leading busy working lives they can struggle to find time to provide the care that matches their parents’ and grandparents’ needs. The next obvious choice may be care homes, but at such a great cost, do you or your loved ones really want to leave their family home for an unfamiliar setting surrounding by unfamiliar people? Wincare elderly home care service can help over come all of these problems. An affordable alternative to a care home and a service that can relieve the stress and worry for relatives: we can care and support elderly customers with a unique care plan that will help them continue to live the lifestyle they wish. With assistance from our Registered Care Manager, we will work with you as our customer and, where required or specified, your family to put in place the support that is required, along with agreed details of what support is needed and when. Care and support packages can vary in length and content from a drop in call or safety check, through to an hour or longer. Services range from routine safety checks and prompts, to delivery of complex care and, on many occasions, simply involve providing companionship. Whatever the needs, we will always ensure the same carer team visits every time so a relationship can be established and the best care can be provided.
